We will learn all about the amazing history and culture of the Ancient Egyptians with great books, projects, videos and more! We'll be creating a History Pocket booklet while also referencing the Ancient Egypt Unit Study by Little School of Smiths.
Learn MoreIn this class, kids will be introduced to the art of ballet through movement repetition, music, and a little bit of history to build confidence, musicality, coordination, and discipline- in an age-appropriate environment tailored to beginning ballet students. The class will become familiar with the basic movements, positions, and stretches associated with classical ballet. Students will be guided through traditional barre work, stretching, center work, and reverance each week. Gross motor movements will include an introduction to jumps, skipping, and saches-- combined with musicality and learned arm positions as the class progresses.
