In this class we will dive into the Minecraft book, The Island. For the first half of class we will listen to the audiobook while quietly drawing what we hear. For the second half of class we will discuss the book. If time allows a project will be completed the last weeks of class.
Learn MoreWhether you are a beginner or experienced, needle felting is a wonderfully therapeutic and versatile craft that allows you to create any number of shapes and designs using just felting needles, a felting mat, and wool. Also known as fibre art, the technique can be used to create incredibly lifelike 3D sculptures, as well as 2D designs on the surface of fabric. Beginners will find that they can quickly master the technique - but be warned, it’s highly addictive!
Learn MoreWe will be traveling back in time and watching videos about the famous Oregan Trail, and what it was to travel east to west for more than 2,100 miles on that road in those days (1830's - 1880's) via wagons. While in the kitchen we will be learning how to can vegetables and fruit, how to season and case our own sausage meat, and bake bread/pies. *This class can be very fast paced with multiple transitions
